AGRIBUTEC BILLINGTON COLLEGE
We operate a Two Campus Model. Our campuses in AGRIBUTEC and Billington Vocational Training Centre offer students the unique opportunities. (AGRIBUTEC specializes in Agricultural Production and Management, while at Billington, specializes in Technical Courses). With our wide range of distinct and experiential courses, at each of our campuses you’ll find expansive opportunities to connect the World of Work, or further training at University level, world-wide. AGRIBUTEC-Billington is a College of Choice.

OUR BACKGROUND
Institute of Agriculture Business and Technology (AGRIBUTEC) started as a Private Tertiary Training Institution, registered as Company Limited by Guarantee and without Share Capital; incorporated in Uganda in August 2012
Billington Vocational Training Centre (BVTC) was established in 2007 as a private Technical Training Institute
in 2021, the Two Institutions merged together to form a Vocational Training College named AGRIBUTEC BILLINGTON COLLEGE

GOVERNING COUNCIL
The College is overseen by the Board of Governing Council Members headed by the Chairperson Governing Council Prof. Ikoja the Vice Chancellor Soroti UNiversity. Appointment to the Board is based on Expertise, Experience, Education and Reputation.
It is membership is well designed from Local Government Representatives to Local Council Representatives
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The five Board of Directors of the
AGRIBUTEC-Billington College is entrusted with final responsibility for the
quality and integrity of the education provided by the college. It appoints the
Governing Council, approves the purposes of the college, and ensures provision
of adequate resources to support the college. The Board of Directors protects
the college from external pressures antithetical to academic freedom and to
college autonomy or integrity.
ADMINISTRATION
The College operates Two principal Administration. Principal 1 at the Main Campus, Deputy Principal and the Technical Campus.
The Principal is the Accounting Officers and
entrusted with day-to-day running of the college.
There are 7 Departments: Crop Science, Animal
Science, Business Management, Building, Carpentry, Electrical Installation,
Garments and Fashion Design. Each is headed by competent and qualified
Lecturer/Instructor. There are Offices of: Academic Registrar, Dean of
Students, Farm Manager and Security. Performance Management is carried out
Bi-Annually.
